Alex Lorditch grew up in Summit, New Jersey. She began dancing at the age of three at Summit School of Dance, training in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and hip hop, eventually joining the competition team at age ten. At age twelve, she also joined the dance company at Oak Knoll School, where there was a bigger emphasis on ballet and modern. Alex went on to dance at Boston College as a member of the Dance Organization of Boston College. It was through DOBC that Alex fell in love with choreographing and she eventually went on to serve as Director her senior year. After graduating with a degree in Communications and American Studies from BC, she now works at Urbanity Dance. This is Alex's second season as both a choreographer and member of DanceWorks.
