Erin Dow

Erin grew up on Cape Cod and began her dance education at age 3 from Dance Designs Studio in Hyannis. There she trained and competed in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical and pointe. She was a member of the studio’s competition team for four years where they competed locally and nationally.  Erin continued dance in college where she was a member of the Jazz, Tap &Aerial Dance Company at the University of New Hampshire and eventually transferred to UMass Amherst and was a three year member of the UMass Dance Team. Performing at Football and Basketball games as well as competing nationally at the NDA competition in Daytona FL each spring. When she’s not dancing, Erin is employed as a Sale Development Rep for Carbon Black in Waltham.  Her favorite charity, which she has been involved with since 2006, is Dancing for a Cure. This fundraiser started by her former dance teacher Susan Mendoza Friedman holds benefits throughout the year and has raised over $300,000 for Friends of Dana Farber since it's inception. Erin joined the company in season 10 and is excited for her first opportunity to choreograph with Dance Works Boston!
