Maggie started dancing at the age of 3 when her parents put her in classes because they couldn't get her to sit still. She continued to train at Tammy Allen Dance Academy in Rochester, NY throughout grade school, competing in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Modern. She got bitten by the choreography bug during this time at TADA with the encouragement from her instructors to be creative and just keep dancing. Upon graduating high school, Maggie attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, where she was a four year member of and choreographer for the Spartan Dance Team. She graduated in 2015 with a degree in Chemistry, but stayed at CWRU to pursue her Masters degree. During her time in grad school she performed in various modern dance collectives through the CWRU dance department. Maggie now works as an Intellectual Property Consultant in Boston and is so thankful to DanceWorks for giving her another outlet to continue doing do what she loves.
