Megan McCoy

Megan began her dance career at the age of three at Karla Pattavina’s Dance Academy in Haverhill Massachusetts where she took ballet, lyrical, jazz and tap. She participated in various competitions with KPDA’s tap team throughout middle and high school. During high school she began teaching dance at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and has continued to do so for the past eight years where she shares her passion for Hip Hop, Latin rhythms and other dance genres with the children there. She attended Merrimack College and she founded and served as the president of the Merrimack College Dance Club for all four years where she choreographed Hip Hop routines that her and her team performed at many different venues across campus. She also found great joy teaching Zumba at the fitness center there during her undergrad to students and faculty.

When not dancing, Megan loves spending time with family and friends and is most likely found with headphones in listening to any music she can get her hands on. Megan is so thrilled to be joining our DanceWork Boston family this season!
