Áine grew up dancing at LaPierre School of Dance in Reading, MA . She immediately fell in love with dance when  she started at the age of three years old, and since then has been trained in a wide variety of styles.

She attended Endicott College where she majored in Elementary Education and minored in Dance.  Áine was a very active member of the dance community at Endicott and made some of her favorite memories through dance. She was part of the Dance Team for all four years of college and captain for two of those years. The team competed Jazz and Pom routines at UDA national and regional competitions as well as cheering and performing at the schools football and basketball games.  She was also a part of the Repertory Dance Ensemble and performed Modern and Contemporary pieces.  After graduating from Endicott College in 2016 she went on to pursue her career in Special Education.  She then attended Lesley University for Grad School and recently received her Masters in Special Education.

Áine has worked as a dance teacher at LaPierre School of Dance for the past six years. She has loved coming full circle and sharing her passion with kids at the studio she grew up at. In addition to DanceWorks Boston, she is a member of Pantos Project Dance Ensemble. Outside of dance, this past winter Áine took some time off to try new things and worked as a ski instructor.

This is Áine’s ninth season with DanceWorks Boston and is so excited to be making her choreographer debut in Season 23!
