Amanda grew up in Dover, MA and she began her dance journey at the age of three. She initially trained in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz at her local studio, Commonwealth Dance Academy. Over time, she diversified her skills with training in pointe, Lyrical, and Contemporary. Throughout her time at CDA, Amanda actively participated as a member of their competition team, showcasing group and solo routines at various regional competitions.

In 2019, Amanda graduated from Bentley University with a dual degree in Creative Industries and Ethics. During her university years, she immersed herself in the dance community by joining the Bentley Dance Team. Not only did she contribute to the Game Day team, but she also competed at NDA College Nationals and the Dance Team Union College Classic. It was during this time that Amanda developed a newfound love and appreciation for styles like Hip Hop and Pom. During her senior year, she proudly took on the role of team captain, which allowed her to give back to the team which enriched her college experience.

Throughout the day, Amanda works as the Executive Director at an Assisted Living Facility, dedicated to serving the needs of the local senior population. Post-graduation, Amanda wasn’t quite ready to hang up her dancing shoes and she was encouraged by her old teammates to audition for DanceWorks Boston. This will be Amanda's 7th season with the company and 1st time choreographing. Amanda is excited to have the opportunity to debut her vision on the "big stage.”
