Amelia Whitten 

Amelia hails from the small town of Gorham, Maine where she began dancing at the age of three at the Centre of Movement School of Performing Arts. There, she trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip hop, musical theatre and pointe and started dancing competitively at age 9. After high school, Amelia moved to Boston to pursue a degree in Psychology and Business Management at Simmons College. She was an active dancer and choreographer for the Simmons College Dance Company, leading as President her senior year. She now dances professionally as a Boston Cannons Dancer, cheering for the MLL team on the sidelines. Amelia is excited to be returning for her seventh season with DanceWorks Boston and her second season as a choreographer!
