Bayleigh began dancing at the age of two at a competitive dance studio in Hilton, NY, where she trained in various styles, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, and hip-hop. Growing up in the competitive dance world, she developed a strong foundation in technique, performance, and artistry, earning numerous awards and recognitions along the way. Throughout her career she developed a strong passion for both contemporary and hip hop.

While dance has always been a passion, Bayleigh also pursued a career in science and engineering. She first came to Boston for an internship, which led to a permanent position as an Optical Specialist. Despite her professional focus on optics and technology, dance remains an integral part of her life. Whether it’s through continued training, choreography, or performance, she is committed to staying connected to the dance world and sharing her love for movement and expression. This is Bayleigh’s third season with DanceWorks Boston and it is her first time choreographing with her co-choreographer Imogène. She is deeply grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a supportive community of dancers.
