Brittany grew up in Charlton, MA and began her dance training at the age of 4. Her dedication brought her to Spotlight Dance Academy where she was heavily involved in competitions and local conventions. She has been trained in many forms of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, and Hip-hop. Brittany attended Columbia College Chicago in 2008 and majored in dance. She then graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor's degree in Technical Design with a concentration in Lighting Design. She has performed and worked on many dance shows including Lostwax Multimedia Dance Theatre, Providence Ballet Theatre’s Twas the Night Before Christmas/Hansel & Gretel, River North Dance Chicago, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet (to name a few). Soon after in 2013, she was given the opportunity to intern at Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival where she worked closely with a variety of artists from all over the world. Brittany has continued to teach and choreograph throughout the years since. For the past year, she has been running multiple dance workshops with Ellen McDonald teaching jazz, hip hop, and contemporary fusion styles. Apart from her love for theater and dance, she also enjoys snowboarding, live music, football and basketball. This is her sixth season choreographing and her seventh season with DWB!
