Brit grew up in New York and started dancing at the age of 5. Throughout her childhood, they trained primarily in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, and modern. Brit went on to study at Bates College and double major in neuroscience and dance (choreography), training primarily in modern, post-modern, jazz, improv, and hip hop.  After earning her master's in dance science at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, they moved to Boston to continue pursuing dance. Since then, she has trained throughout the Boston area and was a part of Boston Dance Studio's pre-professional program, where they trained in contemporary, hip hop, heels, street jazz, jazz, ballet, commercial choreography, and popping. They have also taught workshops, choreographed, and performed for several companies and dance groups in the Boston community.

This is Brit's 7th season dancing and 3rd season choreographing for DanceWorks Boston, and so excited to be co-choreographing with her partner KJ!
