Casey began dancing when she was 3 at Dance Creations Inc. in Woonsocket, RI. Growing up she trained in tap, jazz, ballet and pointe, later on gaining hip hop and contemporary experience, but tap was always her favorite! At Dance Creations she competed in regional competitions and was also an assistant teacher. Casey graduated from Bridgewater State University with degrees in both Elementary Education and Math. Not ready to give up dance, she joined the BSU Dance Company her sophomore year of college, where she immediately became involved for the next three years, performing in shows each semester. Casey choreographed two tap pieces for the company, one of which was voted on and awarded “The Most Entertaining Choreography” award. She was also the Treasurer on BSUDC’s executive board during her senior year. During the day, she teaches 2nd Grade in North Attleboro. Casey has been with DanceWorks since Season 16, and is so grateful to be choreographing her second tap piece with DWB!
