Kate Christopher
Kate began her dance career at 3 years old at the Karen Bernard School of Dance in Winchester, MA. Here, she was classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, musical theater, hip hop, lyrical, modern, and contemporary. Ever since she was young, Kate showed a passion for being on stage. In 2015, she completed the three-year Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston Dance Education Training Course and has been on staff at the Karen Bernard School of Dance ever since. Kate continued her dance career at Stonehill College as a member of the dance team, performing hip hop, jazz, and pom.
Since graduating from Stonehill College, with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Dance, Kate continued on to receive her Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling and now works as an adolescent psychotherapist. Kate continues to make time for dance, spending her free time teaching students and taking classes in the Boston area.
This is Kate’s sixth season with DanceWorks Boston, and she is beyond excited to be choreographing with her best friend, Chaneigh Bernard, again in season 27!
