Meg McCoy
Meg began her dance career at the age of three at Karla Pattavina’s Dance Academy in Haverhill Massachusetts where she participated in various competitions throughout middle and high school. Meg taught dance at the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence for nine years where she shared her passion for Hip Hop and Latin rhythms with the children there. She also founded and served as the president and choreographer of the Merrimack College Dance Club.
Now, Meg is an Upper Elementary teacher in Haverhill. When not in front of the whiteboard, she can be found in front of the mirror back at her home studio, KPDA, teaching Hip Hop to the next generation of dancers. This will be her ninth time creating and choreographing for DanceWorks Boston! She’s extremely grateful to share the studio, stage and space with a great community of dancers.
